The production line of Aluwedo signage high gloss finish aluminum composite panel is a complex work integrating various machining, assembling and inspection procedures. For more details please download ALUWEDO processing guidelines.
Advantages of High-Gloss ACP
1. The panels' high gloss finish reaches 95%, making the panel looks like a mirror. ACP is easy to be adhered with ink
2. Applicable in screen printing and direct-to-substrate digital printing
3. High-gloss ACP is of smooth and flat surface; printed film will help to extend the panels' service life
4. The panel surface can be coated to be brightened and attractive
5. Featuring outstanding weather resistance
6. High-gloss ACP features 5 years' service life for outdoor application;
7. UV protection
8. It can be routed and returned to add dimension or roll-formed to deliver sweeping curves
9. PE colours come with a 5 year external guarantee.
10. Exceptionally rigid against comparable traditional sign materials; shown is a comparison table of 4 kinds of panels:
Material | ACP | Aluminum panel | PVC panel | Acrylic panel |
Thickness | 3mm | 2.4mm | 11.1mm | 6.8mm |
Size | 1m2 | 1m2 | 1m2 | 1m2 |
Weight | 3.8kg | 6.5kg | 5.6kg | 8.2kg |
1. Raw Materials
We purchase raw materials for producing high-gloss ACP only from well-known brands such as PPG, Becker, Velsper, and Nippon, etc.
Aluminum coils: A1100 and A3003 will be selected and only those qualified ones would be used;
Adhesive film: from Dupont; with a thickness of 5um;
LDPE: specially produced to ensure it is of no impurity;
Protective film: the protective film should be easy to be peeled off but not fall off itself; no glue is left on the sheet surface; the transparent film makes quality inspection and coloring convenient
2. Advanced Automatic Production Line
Advanced double screw machine with rollers is employed to make sure that the PE core as well as the panel surface are of smooth surface
3. Dust-Free Work Shop
This workshop contributes to reduce the hurt caused by dust to the high-gloss panel. We believe that a dirty workshop can never produce a clean metal sheet. With the epoxy resin paint, our workshop is kept clean and in order.
4. Professional Technical Team
The managers and leaders of our production department have been working in the ACP field for 6 years. They know deeply the requirements and each production step of producing high-gloss Aluminum composite panels.
5. Strict Inspection System
To get high-quality high-gloss ACP, it is far from enough only with ACM inspection. High-gloss ACP must also meets the following requirements:
a. Any defects on the surface even a small dust over 0.5mm size should be taken out from the standard ones (1220*2440mm, 4*8ft)
b. Errors over 1mm in sheets' length or width are not accepted.
6. Secondary Test before Packing
All sheets should be checked again before delivery. Since we use transparent protective film for the high gloss panels, any defects on the surface would be picked out easily.
7. Rich Experience
Aluwedo has been engaged in the Aluminum composite panel field for 10 years. We know where and how the ACP is applied. That's why we can customize the exact panel with the desired performance and properties you want.
